Christmas Mission: 2019
Help bring cheer to children who attend the Ottawa Mission’s Christmas Dinner service on Sunday, December 22nd, by bringing a new (in it’s original packaging) gift to the Rogers Radio Building at 2001 Thurston Drive, Monday to Friday from 9AM to 5PM.
Sometimes Santa isn’t able to bring children in our community presents because they don’t have a fixed address. Let’s help Santa out, like many of you did last year, by delivering gifts to kids who slipped through the cracks.
Families come together at the Ottawa Mission each holiday season for a warm meal and togetherness. It’s an eye opener to experience the magic that happens during Christmas Dinner Service and, for me, I’m particularly moved to see babies giggling, children smiling and teens spending that quality time with their loved ones…
To commemorate the occasion, wouldn’t it be cool for the little ones to have something physical to hang on to? A gift. JUST for them. Shiny. New. On their Wish List that Santa maybe didn’t see?
Here are some pictures and posts from last year’s Christmas toy drive for our friends at the Mission.
If you’d like to arrange for a KiSS Studio tour when you make your donation, please get in touch with me (Amy Volume) directly to set up an exact date & time.
Bring in a NEW toy, book or treat to 2001 Thurston Dr., weekdays from 9AM to 5PM on or before Friday, December 20th.
If you are unable to physically drop something off and you would like to donate - please ship to:

Ed Sheeran Drops Shape Of You Video
Taking on the role of an amateur boxer, Sheeran takes a few lumps in the vid and also falls for fellow boxer, Jennie Pegouskie. Stick around after the credits for some bonus entertainment.
This was one of the two singles simultaneously released from his third LP ÷ (Divide) out March 3rd. Divide will see a standard release with 12 songs, and a deluxe edition with 16.
Sheeran also released a music video for Castle on the Hill a week earlier. Taking a literal trip down memory lane, the singer cast people from his former high school to star in the vid.
Any was you slice it, the scar is really working for Sheeran though, don't you think?
Following the new album's release, Sheeran will tour. He's already revealed dates for the UK, Europe and Latin American with North American dates coming soon.
Gaga Refuses Super Bowl Pay
Lady Gaga has turned down payment for her upcoming halftime show performance at this years Super Bowl.
“While this may seem shocking, it’s actually a very logical marketing move. What she’ll forgo in direct payment, she’ll make up for with valuable exposure. With Lady Gaga’s new album slated for early October 2017, over 100 million viewers won’t hurt her sales. She’ll likely have a tour to follow, which means big money for her.”
Gaga's "Monster Ball Tour" in 2011 earned a whopping $239 million... so yeah, Forbes has a point.
Turning down the NFL payday is apparently part of Gaga's "plan" to announce a new album, following the October 2016 release of Joanne. Fan sites have been saying Gaga is going to deliver some major tour details shortly after (or maybe, during) her halftime show performance. The singer has added fuel to the fire by retweeting some of these claims:
Further rumors suggest Gaga is in talks with Fenway Park to book a summertime concert. A far cry from the more intimate or small-sized venues she played during her Bud Light Dive Bar Tour at the end of last year.
I guess we'll have to wait and see! Her focus at the moment seems locked on her upcoming halftime show performance where an estimated 100 million viewers will be tuned in. Gaga has been sharing videos and pictures of her and her dancers prepping for the big event. She insists there will be no surprise guests. It's all about Gaga.
Oh, and it's a little about the Patriots and Falcons... Super Bowl LI (51) airs Sunday, Feb. 5th from NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas.
