More GRAMMY announcements coming down the pipe this morning. Legendary thrash rockers Metallica said they had something “very unique and special” planned for us… and now we know exactly what they meant! Thanks to a leaked commercial for the awards (and follow up confirmation via Rolling Stone) Metallica will perform with Lady Gaga at the 59th Annual GRAMMY Awards on City, February 12th!
Other performances include duets from Kelsea Ballerini and Lukas Graham, John Legend and Cynthia Erivo. Demi Lovato will join Andra Day, Tori Kelly and Little Big Town for a special performance honoring the Bee Gees and the 40th anniversary of Saturday Night Fever.
In addition to the stars listed above, we will also be seeing performances from:
Beyonce, Adele, Katy Perry, The Weeknd with Daft Punk, Chance the Rapper, Maren Morris with Alicia Keys, Dave Grohl with Anderson .Paak, A Tribe Called Quest, Carrie Underwood with Keith Urban, Sturgill Simpson and Gary Clark Jr. will duet with William Bell. Bruno Mars is rumored to be teaming up with The Time for a touching tribute to Prince.
You do NOT want to miss the GRAMMYs on City this Sunday, February 12th hosted by the ever hilarious James Corden. With the number of announcements from the Recording Academy increasing as we get closer and closer to air time, I wouldn’t be surprised to see even more performers added to the line up throughout the week. Stranger Things Season 2
Netflix shared this sneak preview during the Super Bowl & posted it online with the simple caption "Stranger Things 2 is coming. Halloween 2017."
Well, it's nice they started it with a light "Leggo my Eggo" commercial from the 80s because things got really strange, really fast. The cast is back, decked out in Ghostbuster's gear, looking for their pal, Eleven.
We get a glimpse of Eleven, but it's not looking good for her or anyone in this short teaser. What is UP with that creepy spider looking thing? I'm still having nightmares over the first season's demogorgon, thanks.
Like I said, at least we have Eggo around to lighten the mood:
