Monday, April 24th
I haven't had much time to keep up with entertainment news. To be completely honest, I have a hard time keeping track of what day it is! Hence the boring ass title of today's post (which yes, I had to open up the calendar app for).
Tomorrow's my 31st birthday and I've decided that I'm going to do great things this year! Hard to imagine improving upon my career, "broadening my portfolio" (which I had to put in quotes because it sounds kind of like a douchey thing to say, doesn't it?), getting a raise or whatever when it's next to impossible to jot down a few words to keep the world appraised of Justin Bieber's latest hair do.
Ok... so that's not all I do online, but you get the picture...
Baby Rory is a little needier than Everett was at this stage so I don't really leave my arm chair most days. I don't often have a free lap for a laptop, or free hands to work a smart phone. This blog post is a freak occurrence that I once referred to as "free time". As I'm writing this, Miss R is squirming and making bird noises in her crib so... that means it's running out!
Long story short: I don't know how I'm going to achieve my personal goal of professional greatness in the next 12 months when I'm off on mat leave for 6, but... it'll happen. Just like this brief (okay, she's fully crying now) window of blogging opportunity has/had arisin - I gotta take advantage of the time I'm blessed with!
