Late August update on my life… What’s been going on with my health, at work and with the cottage this season. Overall, everything is pretty awesome but that awesomeness does not come easy.
My COVID+ Journey (so far)
This is my day to day experience being COVID+ with rheumatoid arthritis (since 1988), a history of neutropenia and a compromised immune system from taking TNF inhibitor Enbrel for 21 years. Evolving from a COVID story to a Public Healthcare one due to barriers prohibiting access to antiviral medicine for eligible persons (me).
My 35th Birthday Wish for CHEO Kids!
My 35th birthday is April 25th and I’m hoping you’ll give a gift to a child in treatment at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario aka CHEO to help me celebrate. We’ve been doing this since 2018 and my goal for 2021 is to hit $5,000. Will you help?
