To My Cottage Guests & Friends

Heads up! With the state of things, I will no longer be offering access to Netflix at the lake. You will still have access to Disney+, Paramount+, Apple TV and Music, Crave + HBO, alongside any other streaming services I continue paying for (that allow me to stream at my primary and secondary residences). It’s a bit of a moving target at the moment as I prioritize finances and where I choose to spend my money. You will always be able to stream using your OWN accounts/profiles, just remember to LOG OUT once you’re done streaming. I try to always remember to check and reset the TV settings before new guests arrive.
I will also be testing a new Internet Service Provider this spring for a potential shift away from our current provider. While I know that many good hearted people work at SpaceX and Starlink, I am having trouble reconciling with their CEOs most recent actions. Windmill will always have internet/WiFi, but I cannot speak to it’s reliability. I will keep you posted but understand if you wish to cancel your reservation at the lake based on any of the above decisions.

Stranger Things Season 2

Netflix shared this sneak preview during the Super Bowl & posted it online with the simple caption "Stranger Things 2 is coming. Halloween 2017."

Well, it's nice they started it with a light "Leggo my Eggo" commercial from the 80s because things got really strange, really fast. The cast is back, decked out in Ghostbuster's gear, looking for their pal, Eleven.

We get a glimpse of Eleven, but it's not looking good for her or anyone in this short teaser. What is UP with that creepy spider looking thing? I'm still having nightmares over the first season's demogorgon, thanks.

Like I said, at least we have Eggo around to lighten the mood:

Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life

Netflix releases four official teaser posters for the Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life out November 25th.

It's been ten years since the original series' run came to an end leaving fans wanting more. Here's what we know about the upcoming revival:

  • Luke and Lorelai are (still) together
  • Rory's career is going through a rough patch
  • Emily and the family are dealing with the loss of Richard
  • Original cast members Alexis Bledel (Rory), Lauren Graham (Lorelai), Scott Patterson (Luke), Kelly Bishop (Emily), Keiko Agena (Lane), Yanic Truesdale (Michel), Melissa McCarthey (Sookie), Sean Gunn (Kirk), Liza Weil (Paris), Danny Strong (Doyle), Matt Czuchry (Logan), Jared Padalicki (Dean) and Milo Ventimiglia (Jess) will be featured.

Scott Patterson dished on Luke and Lorelai's relationship, saying:

What I can tell you is that we are together and we are figuring out our next move. There are definitely some fireworks there. We did some really intense adult scenes. Since the movies are only an hour and a half long it has way more detail and the writing is deeper and seems longer so it sort of changed. Fans are not expecting this, but it’s more a film now than it is a TV show.”

Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life will feature four 90 minute installments coming to Netflix Friday, November 25th.
