Shomi is getting a very serious shout out from me, the t.v. junkie! I've been off this week and have been looking forward to really diving in to a new series. I stream everything! MTV, Netflix, CityTV... I haven't had "cable" or subscribed to traditional television in probably a decade.

Working with what's available (and legal) online doesn't always give you the best selection. Where do you go once you've finished that season or series? What do you turn to when you've scrolled endlessly through the "new arrivals" or "popular" selection and come up with absolute zilch...?

Have you considered Shomi?

It's a new way to watch and the selection is fresh as hell. Immediately my eye is caught by American Horror Story, Vikings, Parks and Recreation, New Girl, Transparent (a Shomi exclusive starring Jeffrey Tambor), Strange Brew, Reservoir Dogs,  Fubar (1 and 2) PLUS my new favorite: Moone Boy

For Christmas: Gremlins, Scrooged, A Christmas Story, Elf, Home Alone (1 and 2) are definitely in queue!

A Shomi subscription will cost you $8.99 per month with other services upping their price, I'd say Shomi is looking VERY good these days. What are you watching on Shomi?
