The last year was full of mostly positive change. The birth of my son is still an unbelievable experience, one year later.
I'm back at work/on air, full time. It's a different style of radio for me and I am learning something new every day.
Between being a mom, a girlfriend, a co-worker, media personality, friend and independent woman, it is hard to make time for everything and every one (myself included). Anxiety is something I struggle with so I feel it my duty to work on that more this year.
This is my list of New Year Resolutions. In 2016, I promise to:
1. Care less about what others think & not allow negativity to occupy my time.
2. Grow better garden & eat from it often.
3. Cook more.
4. Make time to work out every weekday & go for walks when the weather permits.
I had a great garden last year in our front yard. Lots of zucchini, peppers, tomatoes, kale, lettuce, cucumbers, herbs & spices. It was my first foray into veggie gardening and, overall, was pretty great. Now I know more about insects and pest control, so next year's harvest will be even better.
Out with the old, in with the new.
Wishing you the very best of 2016,
